Solar Ambassadors, a group of students at Coastal Carolina University recently completed their second project in which they raised money to place solar panels on top of a local non-profit. The recipient this time was VFW Post 10420 in Murrells Inlet. The Solar Ambassadors raised $37,000 to do the work. Along the way, they gained experience and possibly helped to inspire others to consider renewable energy options.
